- Compression molding overview
  Use SimForm to perform a thermal cooling analysis for your plastic compression mold designs. These analyses help you identify hot spots on the plastic part and develop cooling layouts to improve the part quality and reduce cycle times.

Run the simulation

Start the solving process.

On the Setup page, hover over Submit Job to display the verification list of all the required elements that you must define to solve the job.
Click Submit Job to start the simulation solve.

In the Conformal cooling job card, you can monitor the progress of the simulation. When the solve status changes to Complete, proceed to the next step. The solve process takes approximately 1 to 5 minutes.
