Display Mode panel options
On the results page, use the Display Mode panel to select the display options to view the safe ejection time of the plastic part, the surface and volume temperature distribution on the plastic and mold components.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Setup|Results | Allows you to quickly switch from the Results
page to the Setup page. This allows you to verify the settings of your solved model. |
| Results list | Lets you select the variable to view in the display window.
|
| Appears for the channel assessment job type. Displays the cooling channels to let you understand the impact of the channels’ placement on the results. |
|
| Appears when Mold is selected in
Display Mode. Shows or hides specific mold groups for better visualization. |
|
| Cutting Plane | Appears for all Display Mode options except
Mold. Displays a sectional view along the selected axis:
|
| Filter Plastic | Displays areas of the plastic part where the temperature exceeds the
specified value. This lets you identify areas of the plastic part that are within the safe ejection range, those still in a liquid state, or areas exceeding the plastic’s melting point.
|
| Simulation Time | Specifies the time step at which you want to display the thermal results to help you analyze the thermal performance of your mold and plastic parts during various phases of the cooling cycle. |
| Lets you download the CAD model of the cooling channels and baffles you created in SimForm as OBJ files. It does not export the original user model. For example, if you extend a cooling channel, only the extension is exported. | |
