In this tutorial, you will generate recommended regions and export them into a channel assessment job.

  Use SimForm to perform thermal cooling analyses for your plastic injection mold designs. These analyses help you identify hot spots on the plastic part and develop cooling layouts to improve part quality and reduce cycle times.

Creating and using recommended regions

In this tutorial, you will generate recommended regions and export them into a channel assessment job.

You will use a flanged transition housing plastic part to set up and run a channel recommender job. You will then analyze the recommendation results by inspecting the color-coded regions, applying filters to highlight critical areas, using cutting planes to view the interior, and checking the temperature distribution to identify hotspots. You will also export the recommendation results into a channel assessment job to help you create your cooling system.
