Custom Part Material options

The custom part material window lets you define a new plastic part material in your job.


Option	Description
Copy from Part Material	Copies the properties of an existing material to let you modify it.
Name	Sets the name for the new material.
Density	Sets the density of the material in kg/m³.
Thermal Conductivity	Sets the thermal conductivity of the material in W/(m·°C).
Specific Heat	Sets the specific heat of the material in J/(kg·°C).
Temperature	Sets the temperature of the molten plastic at injection in °C.
Ejection Temperature	Sets the temperature at which the plastic solidifies in °C.
Target Mold Temperature	Sets the temperature of the mold cavity surface when in contact with the plastic, in °C.
